NEW MUSIC FROM AN OLD FRIEND: Singer Songwriter Legends: it's a personal gift from the people you've listened to all your life.

Some of modern music's greatest songwriters revisit beloved tunes – and deliver sparkling new ones – on this extraordinary, exclusive collection. Overseen by legendary producer Phil Ramone, NEW MUSIC FROM AN OLD FRIEND reunites fans with iconic creators Burt Bacharach, Brian Wilson, Carole King, Kenny Loggins, Kris Kristofferson, Paul Williams, Willie Nelson, Richard Marx, and Stephen Bishop among others.

Bacharach offers a poignant new version of his classic "Alfie" (gorgeously sung by Peabo Bryson), as well as new material – notably a new collaboration with Wilson ("What Love Can Do"), who also recreates the Beach Boys gem "God Only Knows." King delivers a moving rendition of a new song "Say Goodbye Today" and teams with Suzan Agbor on a new soulful version of her timeless gem "Home Again." Kristofferson performs a poignant and reflective version of his classic, "Sunday Morning Coming Down", as well as the beautiful new ballad, "The Wonder." Williams, who duets with Willie Nelson on the heartwarming favorite "The Rainbow Connection," penned the album's title track "New Music from an Old Friend" sung by vocal virtuoso Jane Monheit. Stephen Bishop teams up with Eric Clapton and Brazilian guitar icon Oscar Castro-Neves on an exciting samba version of his hit "Save It for a Rainy Day." Kenny Loggins returns to his singer songwriter roots with a fresh interpretation of "A Love Song" as well as the brand new I'll Remember Your Name." Notes producer Ramone, "There's a freshness in all of these artists that's undeniable. It's been a magical experience."
